FROZEN by Bleu-Ninja FROZEN by Bleu-Ninja
Another neo-80's image? You know me.
My proportions are wonky as usual (messed up on the eyes) but overall I think I like how this turned out.

Inspired by the excellent poster for Drive by James White

Proportions look pretty good to me by disney standards, other than that the color scheme is my favorite part of this pic (:

Hey, thanks! I think I cleaned up the face and such a bit after the original submission.
I really do love playing around with heavy blacks and bright neon lights. I think it's because I usually draw with such a light open-line style that the deviation is so fun.

Nice rendition. I'm digging the snowflake in the background too, I feel like that gives it a more complete feeling overall. Nice job with the colors and capturing the style. :)

Thanks! I've only really worked in this style once or twice before so this was a fun challenge. I did a lot of referencing to the original poster to get the colors. I don't think I've nailed it yet (the whites of the eyes are way too distracting) but I like it so far.

I added the snowflake in the background to fill out the image some more. In the original picture, Gosling is driving so that gives his arm something to do and works for the background. At first I wanted to put Elsa in a pose like this but it didn't fit right with the composition. So I just threw the snowflake in the back.
